क्रिकेट के लिए जुनून से भरे हिन्दुस्तान में मंगलवार (16 अगस्त) सुबह एक ऐसी खबर आई,जिसने हर किसी को हैरान कर दिया और ये खबर फुटबॉल की दुनिया से थी. दुनिया में फुटबॉल की सबसे बड़ी और प्रतिष्ठित संस्था FIFA ने भारतीय फुटबॉल संस्था को सस्पेंड कर दिया है.यानी ये ऐसा है कि क्रिकेट में इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (ICC) द्वारा बीसीसीआई को सस्पेंड कर देना.
फीफा फुटबॉल खेल की दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी संस्था है,दुनिया भर में होने वाले इंटरनेशनल, डोमेस्टिक समेत अन्य सभी तरह के फुटबॉल मैच फीफा से ही जुड़े हैं. फीफा ने मंगलवार सुबह एक प्रेस रिलीज़ जारी की,जिस में यह कहा कि फीफा कमेटी ने भारत की फुटबॉल एसोसिएशन को सस्पेंड कर दिया है, इसी के साथ भारत से अंडर-17 महिला फुटबॉल वर्ल्डकप की मेज़बानी छीन ली गई है.

फीफा ने अपनी प्रेस रिलीज़ में कहा,‘फीफा काउंसिल ने ऑल इंडिया फुटबॉल एसोसिएशन को तुरंत प्रभाव से सस्पेंड करने का फैसला लिया है. क्योंकि इसमें थर्ड पार्टी का प्रभाव है,जो फीफा के नियमों का घोर उल्लंघन है. यह बैन तभी वापस लिया जाएगा,जब AIFF की सभी शक्तियां सही एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर्स के हाथ में होंगी और बोर्ड के संविधान को सही तरीके से लागू किया जाएगा’.

फीफा ने आगे कहा,‘सस्पेंशन का मतलब यह है कि 11 से 30 अक्टूबर 2022 को भारत में फीफा का अंडर-17 महिला फुटबॉल विश्व कप जो होना था,वह अब नहीं होगा और उसे कहीं और शिफ्ट कर दिया जाएगा.फीफा लगातार भारत सरकार के खेल मंत्रालय के संपर्क में है और आगे के एक्शन प्लान पर काम कर रहा है’.
